About the Artist

My name is Natalee and I grew up in Michigan with a passion for biology and design. Through studying Biological Pre-medical Illustration at Iowa State University, I learned about how art’s power to communicate can be used to approach and explain scientific discovery.

I love using art to showcase the beauty of people, cultures, and ecology. I believe in art’s ability to unify, reaching across differences to communicate important biological information about our surroundings and ourselves. I’m excited to explore new scientific ideas that I can help bring to people through illustration.
